SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Provide patient in-home care covering equipment setup, education, and patient evaluations as ordered by a licensed health care provider. Ensure patients and/or caregivers understand the safe use, operations and maintenance of equipment and perform follow up contacts based on modality and patient needs. Communicates patient needs to physician and appropriate staff to ensure continuity of care. Maintains a positive working relationship internally and externally
Care Medical is looking for applicants that possess the following.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
2. Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
3. Licensed by the State of Oregon as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
4. Valid state drivers license with good driving record
5. Minimum one year home care experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
1. Basic understanding of respiratory related diseases
2. Knowledge of respiratory home care products/equipment
3. Good written and oral communication skills
4. Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships within the medical community and internally
5. Basic computer skills (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
6. Ability to effectively coordinate services for continuity of care
7. Ability to be on call on a rotating bases

Shift: 1 Full Time Swing Position: Looking for a minimum of one to two years experience. M-F 16:00-0030 mandatory call Mon-Thur 0030-0630
Must be within 15 minutes response time when on call
RRT / or RRT eligible.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Patient assessment, delivery of inhalants, administration of medical gases, mechanical ventilation, BIPAP and CPAP management, chest physical therapies, arterial blood draws and analysis, EKG, Holter and Event monitors, pulmonary function testing, Stress testing, C-Section team, and Trauma team. We are looking for individuals that can work well independently and as part of a team. The hospital is expanding and we are seeking individuals that are willing to help grow with our hospital. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.Stayton, Oregon is situated close enough to enjoy the big city or Oregon coast and far enough away to leave the hustle and bustle behind. Required:
Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program with a current Oregon RCP License or able to obtain before employment.
Current NRP and BLS highly suggested.
